Disappointed

I am an adult with ADHD. I was really hopeful about this book, but greatly disappointed. I could not relate to his examples, he writes too much about himself and his experiences. As a coach, he seems to forget that the people reading this book are looking for helpful techniques, don't include too much information that most ADHD people already know or that feeds into their deficits. I personally don't want to read about other people, EDIT, just give me the "if you struggle with this... Try this." There is a lot of good information in this book, but it seems that a family member or partner of someone with ADHD would find it more useful. I will follow his advice and sift through the book to find what interest me or will be helpful. It's just too bad that someone who understands ADHD would publish a book in the same style that frustrates ADHD people... Ironic.

A must read for anyone with ADHD

David Giwerc does an excellent job at identifying the many challanges of Adult ADHD and offers productive solutions to living with those challanges. Permission to Proceed is very insitful and easy to read.I would recomend this book for anyone interested in learning more about adult ADHD.

In Permission to Proceed, David Giwerc offers precious and generous insights into the strengths and challenges related to adult ADHD. As one of the co-founders of the ADHD-coaching-field and the founder of ADD Coach Academy, his knowledge and experience are of great value to those of us who want to gain a better understanding and awareness of ADHD. I highly recommend this book!
