Different type of heroine and hero

My thoughts: I was so-so on this book because I didn't really like the hero or heroine. Just a personal preference I guess. The heroine was just too straightforward and frank and seemingly "strong" than the other heroines I'm used to. Her occupation was as a gardener was also a little too much for me to take. I can't believe that with her personality she just become a gardener. (Yeah, yeah, I know she came from a long pure line of gardeners) I mean, nothing bad on the heroine, she is pretty strong and tough, but I wasn't used to it. As for the hero, he seems a little too out there also. So he's not really my most favorite hero. However he did have a VERY good reason for being the way he is. Actually now that I think about it, it does make sense that the heroine had to be WAY tough to deal with the hero. The story was alright and revealed the turmoil and tragedy for the hero but because I wasn't too fond of either them it was just OK to me.
